EWE-PULLET RULES and POLICIES
When you come to EWE-PULLET, you will be using “Your Tools, Your Labor for Your major savings. We don’t want you to have to waste much more time understanding rules and policies. We want to keep it simple and fun, but there are few things you need to be aware of when to make your EWE-PULLET visit.
Entrance Requirements
Everyone is welcome at EWE-PULLET, but we do have a few rules before you can enter the facility.
- YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN TOOLS-Don’t forget!
You must be 16 Years old or older to enter EWE-PULLET. Children are not permitted and we do not have care facilities or a family waiting room.
Everyone must sign an assumption of risk and release of liability form prior to entering the facility.
- To maintain ordinary expenses and to assure we have the best resources such as carts and engine lifts available for your use, a two dollar daily admittance fee will be charged before you can enter the facility. The two dollar admittance charge is cash only and is good for the entire day. The admittance fee is NOT REFUNDABLE.
We will waive the two dollar entry fee for any Military Personnel or Veterans. Present a valid military ID for us to see, and while you will still have to sign the entrance release, your entrance fee will be waived.
Any personal property such as tools and any tool carrying containers or bags will be subject to inspection upon entrance and exiting the EWE-PULLET lot. Any parts brought in for comparison will be marked to assure there are no confusion with your part and the one which you purchase; if the part is not marked you will be charged for it upon exit.
Entrance into the lot to remove parts will be restricted a half hour prior to the posted closing time.
“WIDE OPEN” Warranty, Part Return, and Core Policies.
We told you about Simple Part Pricing and now we want to tell you about our Exclusive “WIDE-OPEN WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY”
- Every item you select from the EWE-PULLET inventory is warranted for 33 days from the date of your receipt. You must have your receipt for warranty.
- Every item you select from the EWE-PULLET inventory can be returned for our exclusive “EGG MONEY” parts harvest card in-store credit for a period of 33 days from the date of your receipt. You must have your receipt for return. The “EGG MONEY” parts harvest card does not expire.
- WE DO NOT CHARGE CORE CHARGES! All parts are priced inclusive with core and warranty.
Our warranty and return policy is “WIDE OPEN” but there are a few items which will cause us to put the “BRAKES” on.
- All parts which you choose and remove are sold AS-IS. No other guarantee or warranty is expressed or implied. You can always use our “WIDE OPEN” warranty and return policy to select and remove another part, if the one you originally selected will not work for you. RETURNS OR WARRANTIES NOT HANDLED THE SAME DAY WILL REQUIRE THE CUSTOMER TO PAY A NEW ADMITTANCE FEE IF A LIKE REPLACEMENT PART NEEDS TO BE REMOVED BY THE CUSTOMER.
- You are allowed only one warranty/return per item puchased.
- Parts which have been modified dismantled or altered from their purchased condition, will not be eligible for our “WIDE OPEN” warranty and return policy.
- You must have your purchase receipt to utilize any of our “WIDE OPEN” warranties, return or core refunds.
- If you pay by check and your check has not cleared to our bank, which can take up to 10 days, we will not issue any credit, exchange or core refund under our “WIDE OPEN” policies. If you want to stay “WIDE OPEN”, pay with cash, credit or debit card.
- “EGG MONEY” parts harvest cards can only be used for parts purchases and are not redeemable for cash. “EGG MONEY” parts harvest cards are only redeemable at EWE-PULLET. The in-store parts harvest card does not expire.
EGG MONEY PARTS HARVEST CARDS
- At EWE-PULLET, we have made it easy to manage in store credit and returns with our EGG MONEY PARTS HARVEST CARDS.
- EGG MONEY parts harvest cards look just like a regular credit card, with our exclusive EWE-PULLET logo on the front and a few rules and regulations on the back.
- EGG MONEY parts harvest cards can be purchased by businesses to give to employee’s which will frequent EWE-PULLET for great savings on parts they may need for their automotive businesses.
- EGG MONEY parts harvest cards can be purchased as gifts to give to friends who will soon become regulars at EWE-PULLET.
- EGG MONEY parts harvest cards can be reloaded at EWE-PULLET when there value has reached zero.
- EGG MONEY parts harvest cards can only be used for purchased at EWE- PULLET.
- EGG MONEY parts harvest cards can not be redeemed for cash.
- Don’t loose your EGG MONEY card, as it can not be replaced if lost.
- EGG MONEY parts harvest cards do not expire so get back to EWE-PULLET and use your parts harvest card anytime during business hours.
HARVEST DAYS AT EWE-PULLET!
EWE-PULLET will have special “HARVEST DAYS” throughout the year that you can have some fun at EWE-PULLET. Watch in store and on-line advertisements for “HARVEST DAY PULL-A-THONS” with all you can carry or push one-price specials. Watch for certain days with specials on certain part types. We will be doing many promotions to make EWE-PULLET the most fun you can have buying used auto parts anywhere! Watch and listen for the next “HARVEST DAYS” event.
OTHER EWE PULLET RULES
- Visitors to EWE-PULLET who are intentionally destroying property and vehicles within the EWE-PULLET lot will be asked to leave. Repeat offenders will be banned from EWE-PULLET. We want the next part to be available for another guest.
- Shoplifting will not be tolerated. Law enforcement will be called and violators will be prosecuted. The prices are so affordable at EWE-PULLET; you don’t have to think about being a thief.
- Video surveillance with 24 Hour digital archiving is used throughout the EWE- PULLET facility and at all other Nordstrom’s® Automotive facilities.
- No alcohol is allowed on the premises and customers suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be considered by staff to be a safety hazard to themselves and others and will be asked to leave. Suspected drunk drivers arriving at EWE-PULLET will be reported to law enforcement immediately.
- Opened toed shoes or bare feet are not permitted in the EWE-PULLET lot.
- Jacks are not allowed in EWE-PULLET. The vehicles are elevated on stands for easy parts retrieval and jacks are not needed.
- Cutting torches or other flame emitting devices are not permitted with EWE-PULLET.
- Cut off saws or reciprocating saws are not allowed in EWE-PULLET. If the part does not unbolt, we don’t sell it at EWE-PULLET. Our full service division at Nordstrom’s® Auto Recycling can help you with vehicle sections.
- We suggest you bring safety glasses and gloves for your safety while you are removing your money saving parts.
- Pets are not allowed in the EWE-PULLET facilities vehicle storage areas accept for certified handicap service animals.
- Firearms, explosives, and other destructive devices are strictly forbidden on EWE-PULLET and Nordstrom’s Automotive Inc. ® property.
- Vehicles can not be repaired in the parking lot of EWE-PULLET or any other Nordstrom’s® Automotive Inc. property.
- No parking on the township roads which surround the EWE-PULLET facility.
- Do your part to help us keep the EWE-PULLET prices as low as possible by helping us with a few simple things around the facility;
- Pick up after yourself and place any bolts, screws, clips and loose parts back inside the vehicles.
- Please return any carts or hoist back to the PULL BARN.
- Protect any other parts that may be removed to access the part you need.
- Use the self-service Hollander® Interchange system, to check for correct interchange, saving yourself time, and aiding you towards getting the correct part the first time.
- We hope you enjoy your EWE-PULLET experience and tell your friends to shop with us.
- Plan on purchasing any parts you bring back to the PULL BARN. Prices are clearly posted, and there is no negotiation on the prices.
- Anyone not following any of the EWE-PULLET policies will be asked to leave immediately. Your safety is our priority, and we need you to do your part in cooperation. We want to have a professional orderly facility and we need your help to keep it that way.
DISCLAIMER and RELEASE
Removing used parts from vehicles can be dangerous if not done cautiously. We want you to have a great experience, but you need to know that you will be required to sign a release, and will be entering at your own risk. Here is a copy of the release you will be required to sign prior to entering the EWE-PULLET vehicle lot.
ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY
If I do not wish to take on the responsibilities involved in the EWE-PULLET self service method of getting parts. Nordstrom’s® Auto Recycling’s full-service operation may have another option, please ask.
I desire to use my own tools to remove vehicle parts from a damaged vehicle (Damaged Vehicle) on the Ewe Pullet Division (Ewe Pullet) lot of Nordstrom’s® Automotive, Inc. (Nordstrom’s). I agree to pay Ewe Pullet for any parts I remove and take with me at the prices predetermined by Ewe-Pullet before I enter the Ewe-Pullet lot. I understand that, if I am not careful, I could cause injury to my body when I remove parts from the Damaged Vehicle. I assume the risk of such an injury, and release Nordstrom’s from any liability for such an injury. I understand that no employee of Nordstrom’s® will be helping me remove parts from the Damaged Vehicle. If someone other than an employee of Nordstrom’s® is careless and causes me bodily injury while I am on the lot, I release Nordstrom’s from any liability for such an injury.
I understand that any tools or personal property that I wish to take into the Ewe-Pullet lot will be subject to inspection by a Ewe-Pullet employee upon entering and exiting the Ewe Pullet Lot.
I represent to Ewe-Pullet that I am at least 16 years of age.
